​   Founded in 2021, Radiant Saxophone Ensemble has been connecting young and developed saxophone players from the Indiana Tri-State area and beyond.     The Radiant Saxophone Ensemble is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the saxophone ensemble, a medium traditionally limited to transcriptions of pre-1900s chamber music. Through this event, we will premiere new, innovative arrangements that transform wind band standards, orchestral movie soundtracks, big band jazz classics, marching band staples, and contemporary chamber works into fresh repertoire for large saxophone ensembles.     Being one of the largest saxophone groups in the nation, the ensemble has brought together 50 saxophonists and percussionists to perform innovative, newly commissioned works. These performances are more than concerts; they are transformative experiences that allow students to experience the power of teamwork, artistic vision, and leadership in action.
